Frequently asked questions

What is D2D Runner?

D2D Runner is a dedicated delivery service provider for race packs. We deliver race packs to employees at their business addresses, cutting the need for employees to travel to race pack collection venues.

Why does D2D Runner pre-select business addresses?

We must make prior arrangements with each business to ensure an athlete’s race pack can be delivered with no disruption to business operations.

When can D2D Runner onboard a business to enable the delivery of racepacks to employees?

D2D Runner will allow runners to submit proposed businesses for inclusion from Jan 2027, and thereafter engage certain businesses; from those engagements, a decision to include a business or not will be reached. Note that due to a concentration of businesses in specific areas (e.g., Sandton Central/Rosebank), not all businesses are
equally likely to be selected for consideration.

How can my favourite race(s) be included on the D2D Runner Calendar?

From May 2026 to Dec 2026, D2D Runner aims to cover utmost three races per month to ensure race packs can be delivered to athletes on time as the team gets more resources as needed. From Jan to June 2027, D2D Runner will collect data on favourite races from existing clients. These data will be considered to select races for the 2028
calendar.

Why does D2D need such a long lead time to put races on its 2028 calendar?

The long lead time is to ensure D2D Runner follows all necessary approval processes to onboard races onto its platform or the event organizer’s race entry platform.

How do I claim a refund for a damaged parcel?

Claims for damaged parcels must be emailed to info@d2drunner.com within 3 days after delivery, accompanied by pictures showing clear evidence of the damage. The claim will be processed, and the athlete will be notified of the refund.
