Conditions of Carriage: D2D Runner 

1. Definitions

"Company" means D2D Runner, its employees, agents, or subcontractors.

"Customer" means the person, firm, or company instructing the Company to courier, transport, and perform logistics services (collectively referred to as Services) in respect of the Goods.

"Goods" means the consignment, parcel, or package being transported.

2. Application of Terms

2.1. All Services are rendered exclusively under these Conditions of Carriage.

2.2. No agent or employee of the Company has the authority to alter or waive these terms unless done in writing.

3. Limitations of Liability

3.1. The Company is not a common carrier and accepts no liability as such.

3.2. Goods are carried at the Customer’s risk. The Company is not liable for loss, damage, or delayed delivery, even if caused by negligence (including gross negligence) of the Company, its agents, or sub-contractors.

3.3. Any failure to deliver Goods or damage or loss to such Goods must be reported in writing within 7 (seven) business days of the delivery date communicated on email to the Customer or actual delivery date, as the case may be; failure to do so results in no liability.

4. Customer Obligations & Warranties

4.1. The Customer warrants they are authorized to enter into this contract.

4.2. Goods must be collected by the Customer within ten (10) business days of being delivered as comminicated by the Company using email, text messaging or WhatsApp messaging.

4.3. The Customer must select accurate delivery address details. The Company is not liable for non-delivery due to incorrect delivery address information.

5. Dangerous/Prohibited Goods

5.1. The Company does not accept dangerous, explosive, prohibited, or hazardous goods unless expressly agreed upon in writing.

5.2. The Customer indemnifies the Company against all losses or damages arising from the carriage of such items.

6. Charges and Payment

6.1. The Customer is liable for all charges, including return shipping for failed deliveries.

6.2. Payment is made only in South African Rand electronic funds by the Customer; the Company does not accept cash, cryptocurrency, cheques, or payments in kind.

7. Undelivered Goods

7.1. If delivery cannot be completed, the Company will attempt to contact the Customer to make alternative arrangements to deliver the Goods.

8. Governing Law

8.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
